‘Life and the Lady’ Film: 2018 Film Private Premiere Photos

Reflection on a Vision

After 5 years or preproduction and underwater training, and 2 years of production and post, 'Life and the Lady' was brought to life in 2018! Tickets were free and this was a private, by invite only screening, but we sold out in the first 48 hours. This film involved all of the known struggles a film would be known for; fundraising, draining of the Director's (Michelantony's) bank account, even a (non-film related) death in Pre-production.

What set 'Life and the Lady' apart from other journeys such as this was the amount of time and effort it took me, as well as  and main actress, Camille Grenier, to learn to shoot and then practice their craft underwater. Neither of us were scuba certified before the script was written, but this deep (and often times intuitive) manner of story took on a life of its own. In fact, I went 5 years on the project before even meeting Camille. She came on in the last two.

A final run time of 20 minutes, 'Life and the Lady' is filled with both conscious and sub-conscious allegory, and beautiful imagery to back up the story. Surrender is necessary, because 'Life and the Lady' will take you on a POV journey of a soul who is deconstructing to ready itself for its new phase.

I wanted to share this journey except with you so that you might understand how committed I am. 'Life and the Lady' may not end up at the Oscar's, but what it DOES demonstrate is a beautiful aesthetic, and a sense of synergy; Color, composition, sound design, production value, and passion all define who I am. I am working with a deeper story structure and character development in my new emerging projects. There is more to come, and with each new project, I grow.

If you are interested in hiring me for your project, you get nothing less than my best. I treat every project as if it were my own and strive to go beyond expectation.
